The season is in full swing and Beachfront is once again looking forward to all of the events in Miami! During the weekend of our 5k Run or walk benefitting cancer, the South Beach Food and Wine Festival is in town. A perfect way to indulge after a race is to attend one of the many exclusive events happening all over Miami. The Beachfront recommended events are below, and we hope to see you running on February 22!

Despana Presents Paella by the Pool: Hosted by Jose Andres this event celebrates the iconic Spanish dish paella. This event takes place Thursday February 19 at 7pm and is $175 per ticket poolside at the SLS hotel.

The Art of Tiki: A Cocktail Showdown: This event is presented by Captain Morgan and hosted by Emeril Lagasse and is sure to be a blast with some of the leaders in mixology and competing for tiki king! This event is located at The Shore Club and is at 10pm.

Wine Spectator Wine Seminar Series A: This master class is at 10am on Saturday and explores the evolution of White Burgundy with Alex Gambal. It is $150 and is on Saturday February 21. It explores all champaynes and is a more serious event for serious wine aficionados.

Hello Beachfront Family, we are pleased to announce an event dear to our hearts, the Shelly Roberts Circle of Love 5k for the Kids, benefitting directly to childhood cancer organizations including StudentsCare, Children’s Cancer Fund, Camp boggy Creek, Gift of Life, and Smashing Walnuts Foundation. Events include a 5k walk or run and a 10k run in addition to a 1 mil Kids Fun Run.

The event will take place on February 22, 2015 and registration and donations are accepted at www.5kforthekids.com or directly at http://www.active.com/miami-fl/running/distance-running-races/4th-annual-5k-for-the-kids-2015-11561006. Cancer affects directly or indirectly so many in the Beachfront Realty community and is especially dear to founders Mark and Mindy Kurkin as their mother is a ten year survivor, Shelly Roberts. Join in the fun or donate what you can to this extraordinary cause.
